LIVE BOARD
BACK TO BOARD RULES.
NO FINE PRINT.
Paid Attention is a live, public leaderboard for one-minute founder pitches. There is no secret score and no revenue share. Founders pay for position; people decide whether the pitch earns the click.
HOW RANKING WORKS
- Bids are whole US dollars: $2 minimum and $1 increments.
- Rank is active paid credit—nothing else. Views, completion rate, clicks, and founder popularity never change rank.
- Paying less than #1 still places a publishable pitch wherever that amount belongs.
- Equal bids keep payment order: the project that reached the amount first stays higher.
- To move up again, the same founder pays only the difference between their active credit and the target above them, plus $1.
- Checkout never reserves a place. If the board changes while you pay, the captured amount becomes project credit and rank is recalculated live.
WHAT YOU CAN PITCH
- A real product with an HTTPS website and a founder video no longer than 60 seconds.
- The project name, pitch, founder identity, and destination must describe the same product.
- You must own or have permission to use every image, clip, voice, logo, and piece of music in the video.
- Chat and invite links are not allowed—Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar group destinations do not belong on the board.
- Sexual content, adult platforms, malware, phishing, impersonation, hate, illegal goods, and deliberately misleading claims are not allowed.
- Link shorteners are expanded. Affiliate, referral, and tracking query parameters are removed.
- GitHub, Apple App Store, and Google Play links are keyed by their canonical repository or app path, so unrelated projects on the same platform do not share one bid.
PROCESSING + PAYMENT RUN TOGETHER
- After final submission, video processing, deterministic safety checks, and Stripe Checkout can run in parallel. Human content review never delays checkout or first publication.
- No account or email is required. The founder must save the private project link used to check publishing status and add credit later.
- A captured first payment creates no credit, rank, or public placeholder until the normalized video is ready and the destination and media checks pass.
- If a hard check fails after capture—or publishing still cannot finish within 30 minutes—the first payment is automatically refunded in full and the pitch never appears.
- When payment and the deterministic gates are both ready, the pitch goes live immediately as unreviewed. The owner reviews live content afterward and may suspend it under the content policy.
- Final submission permanently locks the video, project name, tagline, public identity, and destination. Re-uploads, edits, and replacements are not supported; an active founder may only add paid credit.
AFTER YOU PAY
- A completed, verified payment activates only when the video and deterministic gates are ready. A success-page redirect alone never claims a rank.
- Your pitch, bid, qualified views, watch percentage, and project visits are public. Private founder and payment details are not.
- Project clicks go to the checked, immutable destination without affiliate or tracking parameters.
- Placement can move immediately when another founder pays more. Payment buys transparent position, not guaranteed traffic, clicks, sales, or a fixed amount of time.
- Refunds and disputes reduce active credit and can move or remove a placement.
